About the lodge

The family-friendly heart of Amakhala

Bush Lodge is the easiest lodge in Amakhala for families. Fourteen thatched chalets cluster around a swimming pool that overlooks an active watering hole — kids can spot impala, kudu and the occasional elephant from their towel.

The kitchen is kid-conscious without being kid-only, the rangers run a junior-ranger programme on quieter mornings, and the family chalets sleep four with interleading rooms. Two daily game drives are included regardless of age.
